RE-Think Customer Acquisition – PART 1

If you haven’t realized how completely mobile platforms influence our everyday life, you are behind my friend!
It’s not just the ultra-fast access to information or being able to call anyone from anywhere but mobile has influenced the globe in ways you can’t imagine – enabling a child to learn in new ways, a trader find best prices, even making revolutions efficient!

Yet there are businesses and business people who make me less excited when I think about how little we have leveraged business and mobile marketing. Hordes of companies are still slow to grasp the new opportunities digital marketing can bring.

Here is DotSign’s attempt to change it, if possible, by sharing a couple of example companies that I learnt about from someone I follow online for measurable marketing.

Let’s RE-THINK
Customer relationships
• Revolutionizing products/services
• Marketing
• Advertising
• Delivering delivering the digital experience

What the above will impact is your
Customer Acquisition
• Transforming your Ads from mere “Shouting” to “Providing Value”
• What it means to get access to customer data
• Behavior/intent targeting

How will Facebook latest “Graph Search” affect your business?

More changes from FB, Oh yeah! But no worries DotSign is on top of things to keep up and translate the confusing tech blah into simple “How will this affect you”.

“What is Graph Search” ?: Facebook on Tuesday (Jan 15th 2013) introduced Graph Search, a new way for users to wade through the trillion connections on the social network for useful information about what their friends like, where they’ve been, and more.  Built on Facebook’s Social Graph database, Graph Search provides useful info based of the info your friend’s network in their database: Finding things like restaurants recommended by one’s friends, places they’ve visited, or photos with shared themes or locations across a friend network.

Now, this will take your online networking and referral to the next level – personalized based of your circle. The more people talk about you the more referral you will get.

Graph search is in beta phase and will be soon rolled out in full swing just like how the “Time Line” crept up on you. Beta available at facebook.com/graphsearch .

Now how will this affect  business and marketers ?

The monetization of Likes:

Recently, LIKE had fallen out of favor with advertisers since it lost its importance in FB news feed algorithm. But Power of the LIKE is back. For business owners, advertisers and marketers now the most interesting thing about Graph Search is how dependent it is on Likes.

16) Create an Open Graph App

With Facebook’s new Open Graph applications, you’re not just limited to other people’s apps — you can also create your own apps that support your very own marketing initiatives! The new and improved Open Graph allows third-party developers to create ‘frictionless’ apps that, after a user provides permission once, automatically share users’ engagement with the app on Facebook. Furthermore, users’ friends are easily able to join in on this shared activity. Furthermore, the new Open Graph apps support customizable calls-to-action, which you may have already noticed in apps already floating around Facebook like Spotify, Hulu, and the Washington Post, which prompt Facebook users to “read,” “watch,” and “listen.” Creating an app for your business will obviously involve a developer’s time, but if you’re interested,  Call DotSign 313 799 3263
